will pope confidential: Aloha, Mahalo, from Maui

will pope confidential: Aloha, Mahalo, from Maui

Aloha, Mahalo, from Maui

I notice all of these Hawaiian words (Aloha, Mahalo) sound like our 'Hello'...maybe that is the translation. The weather is so perfect, gentle winds through these tall pines and coconut and banana trees...and the sun phases in and out long enough to give you a break from the directness of it at the shore...everyone is 'tranquilo' as they say in Costa Rica, and there are no big deals.

You shop, you hike, you beach, you coffee, you beer..whatever..but my point is that we're all drifting through the day in sync with the gusts of wind, and they blow away any momentary worries and it keeps you very present and relaxed.

I have work to do but I know there's snorkeling close at hand...that is my dilemma, my excruciating concern.

I'm making mental notes for paintings, songs, writings. Such an inspiration, I know how 'The Old Man and the Sea' got written...from remembering a place like this.

Peace, Namaste, Cheers, Ciao.

a few good websites...lately

I found this while looking for a place to download 'Who Am I' by Ramana Maharshi... there are teachings by Him, and other stuff, like a definitive site on the teachings of Guatama Buddha.

Ramana is my Guru as of late.
It took a long time for Him to officially 'take me on' as my Guru. All of this is very mysterious, in fact it is THE mystery of life....I'm studying and doing a lot of personal work (education is therapy, as far as healing goes) in the area of Noetic Field Therapy, aura balancing...energy field science. Fascinating. It's like lifting up a rock and finding a real live doorway to an underground cave full of secrets. No way to describe....be in touch with me if you like, I'm here, always.

Remember The World Delicious

There are some amazing videos on TED.com if you haven't been there in awhile.

Also I've switched to a new browser called Opera

which frankly I'm liking much better than Safari or Firefox.  Check it out for yourself,

It has cool features.

Cool Websites:  I would suggest rapidshare.com and photobucket.com

as todays' picks.  Rapishare allows you to upload up to 100mb files for free (so you can send

whole movies, other very big stuff to friends)...photobucket you'll just have to check out -lots of

stuff going on there.

Signing off, but look for the Roses Foundation website to go back up soon, and who knows

other stuff too.

Getting paintings done and pushing other projects along.

God Bless and Godspeed.  Thank you for reading!

the color of roses

it's the first of September but it feels like the first day of Winter in Montana

I've been reading really fascinating stuff this morning -

Robert Waterman

and Robert Adams

'It's really a matter of becoming a better person.
Without a Pure Heart you cannot even begin to progress.'  Robert Adams

I'm longing today for the purest of moments in my memory to duplicate themselves in the present.  Having written that, here they come.  Will Pope

Robert is a good name, the name of my grandfather.

Check out the Roberts here and you'll get some deep water.

good day

a little vacation...

it's time for a little vacation.  don't you think?
let's not think about anything for awhile.  one of the most pleasurable things in the world is to abandon thought!  I learned this from an enlightened master.  actually about ten of them. here is one way:  begin to notice all of the light wherever you are.  think about the source of the light.  continue to consider the light, the quality of the light, and the source if it is the sun.

another fun thing to do is to consider the oxygen in the room, or outside.  can you form a relationship with air?  pay close attention to the air as it comes in and goes out.

now, let's do both.  pay attention to the light, and it's source, and listen to the air as it comes into your body and as it leaves.

do you consider air and light to be living, or non-living?

think about the water in your body.  would you consider it to be living, or non-living?  can you imagine an inner relationship with the water in your body?

we take air, water, and light from the outside environment immediately into our bodies.  is there a difference between the outer air, water, and light and the inner air water and light?

think this is jibberish?
it's not!  this page contains some of the most important information in the world.

if you can take this and continue to practice, and consider it, change in your perspective is inevitable.  may you find the peace to let go, entirely.

up against the wall...sometimes this is what it takes

for various reasons I’ll confess to being more challenged today or ‘now’ than in many weeks and months, even with shows to paint for, etc. I’m at the faithpoint. I like this font suddenly.

I’m at the
FAITHPOINT.

What this means is that THINGS NEED TO CHANGE SOON OR ELSE..

Now you and I know that change is coming anyway. Sometimes it happens that our apparent ‘managed change’ isn’t working.

Sometimes I like to call it a space shuttle. Or liken it to a space shuttle.

Right now it feels like my mis-managed space shuttle might not make re-entry in the way that we all expected.

The other part of it is that through prayer and some last minute moves we’ll be alright. Maybe even way way way better than alright.

But I’m at the
FAITHPOINT.

What Now I’m making a second portrait of Barack Obama. I’m going to get busy.

a weekend is a tiger by the tail

here are a few recent paintings, which you can also see at the meyer gallery website  (www.meyergallery.com)

wanted to share just a few lines...these days are a little too much to explain.  essentially I'm writing a screenplay, that's all for now, but below is just an excerpt from an email I sent today...quick, to the point, and pretty damn interesting...

(such wierd stories over the weekend - remember Daniel?  Your dad does...he was working in an apartment in his complex and discovered that a couple were hiding a baby.  The dad had dipped the baby up to its chest in boiling water.  the poor baby was living on its knees and elbows, burned bad.

Daniel got the cops and ambulance, they care flighted the baby to Dallas where it is going to be alright.  The dad hooked em, the mom got arrested.  then Daniel found the dad at the mall, and texted Detective Davis.  They got the guy, he won't get out.

And then Adria's mom bought a new bike but got amnesia and didn't remember buying it or anything so she had to go to Bozeman Deaconness for a check.  She'll be alright.  It's this thing where people can't make new immediate memories.  It lasts approx. 1/2 day.

more later.

awake today

Good Morning!

My daughter Isabel,  (4) is an enlightened teacher.  My son Oliver is a reincarnated Buddhist.  (I will the story someday soon.)

Isabel opens a book, and asks Adria what the lesson should be about.  Adria says, 'How about meditation?'  Isabel says, 'okay.  This lesson will be about The Ground of The Heart.'  And she goes into a lesson about the heart, the mind, the body.  She's four and she knows so much.  Where she gets it?  I ask her.  She says, 'I just know it.'   Both my children know more than I do, constantly correcting me.  Four and Six.  I'm 42....and so blessed to have such good teachers.

Hope you're well. (You Are.)    Here's a good message from the Daily Guru:

"Mindfulness means moment-to-moment, non-judgmental awareness. It is cultivated by refining our capacity to pay attention, intentionally, in the present moment, and then sustaining that attention over time as best we can. In the process, we become more in touch with our life as it is unfolding."

Here are some very cool links for awakening:

I met her (Amma) in Santa Fe. I was walking down the street, and I noticed a big crowd gathered around a doorway. Everyone was waiting to receive a hug from her (darshan). I squeezed in, and noticed a spot close to her, where no one was sitting. I crawled in and sat, and then she gave me darshan. It was an amazing episode...I then got up and left. The whole thing took less than ten minutes, whereas people had been lining up for quite a long time. It seemed that everything just opened up for me to come in and then exit. She is 'God's love in human form.'

These videos are awesome. Ram Dass w/everyone from Dipak Chopra to Timothy Leary.

Adria and I met Ram Dass at the Hanuman temple in Taos. It was beautiful to receive his blessing. He is 99 years old and lives on Maui.

Ram Dass

Adria and I were at the Krsna temple in Dallas, and heard this music in the big room. We thought it was a tape player. There were just a few people in there praying. Turned out it was Dasi. She's world famous...her heart broke open when she lost her mother. Literally broken, and she has been devoted to walking the world and singing to God ever since...when you meet her, she'll tell you about her mother...

5out of 5

Pros: Machined to Perfection, Adjustable Watchband, Swiss movement exceptiona, Stylish, Reliable, Good Quality

Best Uses: Everyday, It shines Formal Maybe, Travel

Describe Yourself: High End Shopper, Classic, Practical, Modern, Stylish, Athletic

This watch is an all-around find. It fulfills all of the claims of a Rolex, except that it's not a Rolex. (21 Jewel Swiss Movement, Automatic, Titanium, Water Resistant to 310 feet, screw-in crown, sweep second hand, etc. You can tell the amazing machinery when winding it, in the feel and sound. Most people look at Swiss Army and peg it as a 'working man's watch.' This is sophistication, intelligence, like NASA maybe. I believe it will last longer than I will, for the money I think you're getting the highest of Swiss quality equivalent to a Rolex or similar. I researched for quite some time. I bought this watch instead of a Rolex, and I'm happy. Just look at the discount, and buy it.

lesson on the heart and mind

The mind is in the heart and in the head.  It goes between them.  It's like paper.  It flies.  But it doesn't have wings.

gotta see this on creativity

This piece of tape is so good.  It really stops you in your tracks and challenges you to rethink our educational system, in fact our way of life, down to it's foundation.  We need a soft revolution in this country, everywhere, that would bring us up to where we all intuitively know we should be in terms of living in this world - do you like the term 'living in this world' better, or 'living on this planet'?

Hope to hear from you and also that your life is super fantastic, which it can be.  Mine is right now.

Love.

Will

perform a small miracle, please

A calm whirlwind. I'm going to create at least 10 paintings in the next three days, which normally would take twelve days..I need them for my show. My recent awakening spiritually has left me feeling no sense of urgency at all, no worry, and has had an affect on the work in that I haven't been producing nearly so much. I'll get plenty done and everything will turn out fine.

very cool movie on rev sun yung moon - and our senators and presidents...

click below....

sum fun sung yung!!  moon soon wacky loon!!

I have a huge agenda till Christmas....tons of writing, music, video production and painting...also sellingn and moving elsewhere. It will all happen, as if by magic.

To anyone reading this who has practiced meditation, or sitting, for the purpose of self realization, or liberation: please keep doing it. There is freedom at the end of your search. The end can be today. Sit, still the mind, just Be. It gets deeper and deeper and finally when the ego disappears, all that's left is the Great Mind, the Great Spirit. We all know this stuff, and it's so easy to do it, but years go by and we don't.

Do something fantastic today, for yourself, or for someone else - I can feel it already, it's going to be a fantastic day!

painting show coming up in Park City, need to wrap it up!

Things are going as planned, the show is not this friday but next at Meyer Gallery in Park City. I have a television interview the morning of the show, that should be interesting, kind of the ‘morning show’ of Park City.

Projects on my mind. I’ve a screenplay to write for one of the northern Indian tribes, I’ve got a memoir to write (finish) album to record, and a whole bunch of episodes of art classes (some with Jupiter) to shoot. Busy next six months, also finish the house next month and SELL IT.

Major life transitions again, but I’m calm as a cucumber. I enlightened on the 28th of June, and have a new spiritual name, Govinda Das.

Let’s see how this software holds up, apparently one can dropndrag anything and everything and it shoots it out to your blog in a nice format.

This tech has been around for awhile, but who uses it, not me, but I have the feeling things are changing...

Peace to all, the Quiet Mind, the Open Heart. This is You!
